Also provided is an option to process all remaining files "non-stop". This option is only available when exporting is active, as it makes little sense to use it otherwise.

32802 This section generates highly precise resizing instructions for MPEG source files using Jukka Aho's algorithm described at {http://www.iki.fi/znark/video/conversion/}.~~ GSpot first attempts to determine whether there is a reasonable likelihood that the source is original ITU-R BT.601 source material. The entire section remains disabled unless such a determination is positive. Criteria used include sample size, frame rate and embedded SAR value of the original.~~ The type of the target to which the conversion is to be performed is chosen by selecting one of the five "target" buttons. Four of these represent resolutions for standard MPEG formats (VCD, DVD, etc). Tooltips associated with the buttons provide some additional details. Note that the nominal display aspect ratio of the target is assumed to be 4:3. Other ratios, notably "anamorphic" 16:9 conversions, may be supported in a future release.~~
32803 The fifth button, labeled AVI, is used when the target has an inherent 1:1 pixel aspect ratio, such as an AVI file intended to be viewed on a PC. The converted file will have the same height as the source file with a width 4/3 of that height.~~ GSpot automatically determines whether the source file is "PAL" or "NTSC". That determination is indicated by one of two green indicators, and is used when performing the calculation for the selected target type. If, for example, the source is PAL and "VCD" is selected as target, then GSpot will perform the necessary calculations for a PAL VCD, not an NTSC one. Cross conversions, which require complex frame rate conversions, are not supported.
